The California Automobile Museum's Annual Fundraising Dinner will be held this Friday, October 28th from 5:30-8:30pm.
This year's theme is Bash with the 'Stache and will feature special guest Dennis Gage of My Classic Car
The dinner's tentative menu:
Insalata Del Fornaio: Mixed greens, toasted garlic croutons, shaved parmesan in a house vinaigrette
Frutta Fresca Di Stagione: Ripe seasonal fruit
Crusty Fresh Baked breads and olive oil
Carrots and Broccolini: Vegetables served Italian style
with fresh herbs and drizzled butter
Penne Arrabiata: Penne pasta cooked to perfection with a spicy tomato sauce
Petti Di Pollo Alla Ducale: Sauteed chicken breast, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Coffee and Tea
Il Fornaio Dolci Assrotiti: An assortment of fresh baked desserts
Tickets are $75 each and currently on sale at the Museum and online.
Some of the silent auction items available this year are: Week at Clear Lake House (sleeps 12), Dinner for 4 at Maranello Restaurant, a 3-day weekend at Lake Tahoe Cabin (sleeps 10), a Wine Tasting for 6 at Carvahlo Winery, and a Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom plane ride plus lunch. I'll be donating a gluten and sugar free special occasion cake to the auction as well. :)
