The Sax on the River fundraiser for the Karla J Williams Foundation, hosted by Petri Byrd, featuring Tom Braxton and Andre Delano, with special guests Joeseph Tolliver, Omari Williams, Cecil Ramirez, Tessa Evans, and Yarone Levy, is this Saturday, October 8th from 4pm-10pm.
In its 3rd year, the event was created by Trisha Friend to promote awareness of women’s cancers and to give back to a non-profit organization, the Karla J Williams Foundation, an organization that helps female cancer patients and their families. Trisha wanted to share her love of jazz, particularly the saxophone, with all her friends and fellow jazz lovers in the Sacramento area.
