So the new fair treat this year is Chicken Charlie's Deep Fried Chicken Sandwich served on a Krispy Kreme Donut Bun. Condiment? A honey packet.

I think it would be better with a schmear of grape jelly, actually. And the donut should be one of the ones that's creme filled. I am not a custard person.

Anyway, the column this month is going to be on fair food, so I might actually buy one. Gross!

It reminds me of the late Luther Vandross's reported favorite sandwich: A hamburger served on a Krispy Kreme...with, cheese and bacon of course!

The Luther Burger

It's cool, I plan on walking to the fair and walking home...

I think i have heard of the krispey creme burger before. If you buy the chicken sandwich, I will have a bite just to try. It sounds pretty awful...just as I love my fair food to be!

Oh, I'm not letting anything that disgusting actually go down... ;)
Into the napkin it'll go, not on these thighs. I work too hard for that!

I have been reading your blog for a while...it's like a car accident - you know you shouldn't look, but you can't help yourself.

You seem very obsessed with food & calorie intake...it's very tiresome. You mentioned that you want a best friend - maybe you can get one if you stop obsessing about your appearance. It's like you overcompensate for your lack of hair by freaking out about every other aspect of your outer self. We all have crosses to bear, so why not enjoy life and quit reminding everyone of your shortcomings?

Some help for anonymous:

tire·some adj. Causing fatigue or boredom.

Given that you been reading this tiresome blog for a while, I guess either you need a dictionary or a life.

"so why not enjoy life...?"

Sound advice from a self-described fan of secretly viewing car wrecks.

If you're going to act rude in someone's else's house, show your face or shut your yap. Just don't act like you give a shit, when the likely fact is you ARE a shit.

red herring:
Something that draws attention away from the central issue, as in Talking about the new plant is a red herring to keep us from learning about downsizing plans. The herring in this expression is red and strong-smelling from being preserved by smoking. The idiom alludes to dragging a smoked herring across a trail to cover up the scent and throw off tracking dogs. [Late 1800s]

Hey there anonymous, I know my blog is crap. You don't have to tell me that. :)
FYI: I do enjoy my life, and realize I am a very lucky girl. I just get sad sometimes like everyone does.
I don't know anything about you, so maybe you have bigger things to worry about than me and think my problems are a walk in the park.
Anyway, I hope you feel better after stating your opinion. I absolutely agree with you.
Thanks for reading. Would you like some fries with that? ;) xoxo

Also...
There are things you should eat and eat a lot of. VEGGIES!!

There are things you should only have a bit of (two bites) or simply TASTE. Tasting is delightful. People do taste and spit all the time at a "wine tasting". CAKES, DONUTS, ETC.

But then...
There are things you should not put in your mouth at all. :-O !!! HA!
