Two Fundraisers On the Menu this Weekend!


Celebrate Cinco de Mayo a day early!

On Friday evening, May 4th, there will be a fundraiser for Happy Tails. The Quatro de Meow will be held at the Library Galleria at 8th and I streets in downtown Sacramento. It is sponsored by the American Disc Jockey Association, Sacramento Chapter. It will be a "fiesta to remember" with dining, wining, and salsa dancing demonstrations from 6:30 to 11 pm. Prizes include a 7-day cruise to Mexico! Tickets are $25, and are available at the door. All proceeds will benefit Happy Tails! On Saturday, May 5th, the Festa di Vino will be held from 6:30-10:30pm at St. Ignatius Hall, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento. Point West Rotary presents this annual wine-and-food gala whose ticket sales and silent auction benefit children's and other charities. There will be more than 50 winemakers from throughout Northern California serving a wide array of white and red varietals. The Restaurants on hand will serve delicacies expressing Festa di Vino's Mediterranean festival theme. Tickets for Festa di Vino are $50 purchased in advance and $60 at the door.
