Capitol Cellars & their Upcoming Events

Throughout August, Capitol Cellars will be holding special event tastings to showcase some of California's best wineries.

Capitol Cellars is a boutique wine store located in Roseville next to La Provence (one of my personal favorites) Restaurant. Capitol Cellars provides new and exciting wines that are great values as well as many highly sought after wines.

The store is off the beaten path, a few exits away from the box stores of the Galleria.

Every Saturday from 3-6pm, Capitol Cellars features a winery of their choice, and customers may taste for a fee of $10.

On August 8th, O'Shaughnessy (Angwin, CA) will be featuring their secondary label, Footloose. These wonderful wines have Howell Mountian and Mount Veeder fruit. Mike Steffel from the winery will be on hand to provide expert information on the lineup.

August 22nd: Niner Wine Estate Tasting (San Luis Obispo)
August 29th: Tor Winery Tasting (Napa & Sonoma), Tor Kenward, wine maker.

Capitol Cellars offers State-Of-The-Art, Rent Temperature-Controlled Wine Lockers as well as Virtual Online storage lockers available to customers across the USA. They have a lovely retail shop, and a tasting bar complete with outdoor seating. If wine is just not your thing, they also serve sodas and beer. I really like making dinner reservations at La Provence and stopping by Capitol Cellars to shop around (and have a glass of wine) ;) before dinner.
