The 23rd Annual Reigning Cats & Dogs Gala on October 24th!

The Sacramento SPCA’s 23rd Annual Reigning Cats & Dogs Gala will embrace the 1960s for its annual fundraiser for homeless animals.

Enjoy a fun and festive step back to the late 1960s, featuring delicious food from more than 30 restaurants and an equal number of wineries/breweries, as well as large silent and live auctions, and spectacular live entertainment. Live music by The Indestrucibles, AND a special performance of songs from the musical HAiR, presented by Artistic Differences.

In celebration of the 1960s, the SPCA is rolling back ticket prices. General admission tickets are $60 through October 16 and $69 thereafter. Tickets are available through the SPCA website,, or at the door. VIP tickets are available for $100, and a variety of VIP sponsorship levels are available as well.

The party is on Saturday, October 24, 2009 from 6:30-10:00 p.m. at Sacramento Convention Center, 1400 J Street, Sacramento.

For more than 100 years, the Sacramento SPCA has been providing shelter and compassionate care to Sacramento’s homeless and unwanted animals. The SPCA depends on your support to care for more than 12,000 homeless animals annually. Proceeds from the Gala benefit the animals in the SPCA’s care.
