Pour for Prevention is August 27th


Mark your calendars for a special fundraising event on August 27th from 6-10pm. Pour for Prevention is presented by the Child Abuse Prevention Center. and is being held at 1724 N Street in the heart of Sacramento's historic district at the 1913 Colonial Revivial "Mansion Magnifique." This private home is three stories high and is characterized by its amazing architecture and woodwork. The home also features its own collection of art from many talented artists.


Bogle from Clarksburg, Lewis Cellars of Napa, L Wine Lounge, Hoppy Brewing, Bonitata Boutique Wine, Valhalla Cellars and more will Pour for Prevention. World renounwed wine and food expert, Darrell Corti from Corti Brothers is the special guest for the evening, appearing from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Enjoy food from Mulvaney's B and L / Culinary Specialist, Mama Kim Cooks and decadent chocolate from Capital Confections. Get your tickets early for the Child Abuse Prevention Center's Pour for Prevention coming August 27th. Prevention supporters will begin pouring at 6 pm with 100% of proceeds to benefit prevention programs.

The Pour for Prevention highlights include various wines and brew, delicious appetizers, live entertainment with jazz singer Carolyne Swayze and her band, an art display, a chance drawing to win wine and more.

Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. There is a special drawing for advance ticket holders. Checks should be made payable to the CAP Center and mailed to 4700 Roseville Road, North Highlands California, 95660.
