May cause crazy dancing in one's living room and other shenanigans. Besides that, this is one of the best wines under $8 I have had in a long time. I think it's on sale one more day at Safeway. Get it while you can.
Here's the wine maker's link:Screw Kappa Napa
They also make one of my picks for last year, Smoking Loon.
Oh yeah. WHATEVER about the screw cap, folks. I'm over it. Yes, the purist in me loves the cork as much as you do, but a good wine doesn't necessarily have one. Case in point: I just had a French wine recently that was bottled with a cork that was $50 American dollars for a SPLIT and it sucked. More Screw Kappa, s'il vous plaît......

NZ wineries are all about the screw cap wine, mainly for white. I am not sure about reds. They hand out tons of literature when you are at the wineries in NZ, because they get so many American's thinking it is low class. White wine actually does better with screw caps.

Yes. The screw cap phenom has been around a while, but has never really caught on because it is still being looked down upon.... I suggested a wine last year to a friend while we were shopping at Cost Plus and the person turned up their nose at me! Uh-huh... We gotta educate the masses...
