This weekend I took a break from cooking/baking and got out of the house. On Friday evening, I went to the Show Band Concert at the Benvenuti Center to watch my friend Nicole perform. I felt like a proud parent, or at least a proud big sister. She shined as she sang Norah Jones' "Don't Know Why". The kids at Natomas Charter are so talented!
