Fundraising Gala for Chicks In Crisis: Angels Among Us

This Saturday, November 8th, will be an evening of dinner and dancing as the angels of the Sacramento community who have served the area’s pregnant women and babies in need are honored.

The event will be held at the Hilton Sacramento from 6:00pm–11:00pm

Honorees of the evening will be: Frontier Communications; Jason & Kathy Olsen, The Grocery Outlet Elk Grove; eWomen Network; Sungrove Church; American River Bank; Adoption Attorney Marc Gradstein; Senator Jack Scott (D-Pasadena); Kim Tucker, 3Fold Communications. The Keynote Speaker will be Inez Whitlow.

Tickets are $100 each or $75 each for two or more. All proceeds will help fund the programs of Chicks in Crisis. Purchase your tickets online here.

The Chicks in Crisis organization was founded in 1997 by Inez Whitlow.

The organization assists pregnant women and teens in crisis, by finding safe alternatives for their unplanned or unwanted babies.

Inez & Chicks in Crisis find good homes for infants who are not wanted, and educate new mothers by teaching what parenting will be like. They also help women (who are already moms) with parental issues.

Currently, Inez assists approximately 100 women per month who need emergency services. She continues to facilitate over 20 open adoptions per year in an effort to save babies from foster care.

I admire anyone who works to preserve the importance of the sanctity of life and helps to protect the innocence of an unborn or unwanted child.
