Super Snacks!

If you haven't tried popchips™ yet, what are you waiting for?

popchips™ are an all-new, all-natural line of popped chips with all the flavor and less than half the fat of fried chips.

popchips chips aren’t fried (unhealthy) or baked (undelicious). They are made by taking potatoes, applying heat and pressure, and pop! It’s a chip. All they add to them is a flavorful blend of seasonings. What’s left out? More than half the fat of fried chips and all of the saturated fats, trans fats, fake flavors, colors and preservatives (and greasy fingers) that give snacking a bad name.

popchips come in a variety of flavors, including original, barbeque, salt & pepper, sea salt & vinegar and parmesan garlic popped potato chips.

These things are really addictive, and I am not even a potato chip person. My favorite are the salt & pepper variety. So yum!!! You can buy them at Target, Raley's, and Safeway.

Other Potato-E Goodness…

I also recently tried (and liked) another potato snack. They are called Brother's All Natural Potato Crisps. They are different from popchips, and taste similar to Pringles, but without the grease. My favorite flavor of these snacks are the Szechuan Pepper & Fresh Chives variety. The crisps are made by freeze drying slices of potato, and available in three other flavors: Original with Sea Salt, Fresh Onion and Garlic, and Black Pepper and Sea Salt.
You can find them at Costco, Whole Foods, Wild Oats, Smart & Final,Disney Theme-parks, select Wal-Mart stores and CVS. You can also buy them online (which is what I did after I ran out of my sample pack) here. The company also sells freeze dried fruit, like the strawberries found in Special K Cereal.

That's all for now, snack lovers.
