I love birthday cakes that masquerade as wedding cakes... Tiers and fondant and buttercream swirls... I wanted to do something really special for a client of mine,
Kelli. (She is one of the many people I have met through using
Twitter & Social Media.) The occasion was her daughter's 3rd birthday, and she wanted something with a strawberry theme. So below is what came together:
Vanilla Bean Cake Layered with Strawberry Jam, Strawberry Buttercream & Iced in Fondant. Fondant strawberries.

We loved the cake!! I'll be honest, I've never been much of a cake eater (have been like that since I was a kid) BUT I loved your cake...and couldn't stop eating it...it was soooo yummy!!
