Grape & Gourmet this Thursday at the Sacramento Convention Center!

I have been looking forward to Grape and Gourmet for a few months now. It is one of my favorite annual food/wine events. This year it will be moving away from Cal Expo, so I am curious to know how that might change things, other than causing a parking hassle. Still, it is closer to home for me this year, so that is a plus.

Here are the wineries that participated last year! What a phenomenal list! I am looking forward to networking with restaurateurs this year as well. I know this industry is really hurting, and I am doing my best to help promote my favorite restaurants and wineries. The Grape and Gourmet will showcase the winning wines from the State Fair Judging this year, and some of the best restaurants in Sacramento.

I know the Grange at the Citizen Hotel will be a new participant this year, and I hear they will be serving Gazpacho & Mini Summer Fruit Upside Down Cakes. So, with that in mind, I plan to scope out a delicious sav blanc or viognier on my way over to the Grange booth to pair with that gazpacho! Very nice.

Make sure you buy your ticket now, the price goes up to $70 at the door! Click here, and don't forget to enter coupon code "CHM2009GG" for an extra $5 off. See you there!
